Legal
Website Terms
These terms apply to your use of jamfs.ca. They distinguish general website information from professional services provided under a signed engagement.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using jamfs.ca, you agree to these Website Terms and the Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
2. General information only
Website content is provided for general information. It is not accounting, tax, legal, investment or other professional advice and should not be relied on for a specific decision. Rules and individual circumstances change, and appropriate advice requires the facts of the particular situation.
3. No professional relationship from website use
Visiting the site, submitting an inquiry or participating in an initial discussion does not create a CPA-client relationship and does not oblige Jamieson CPA to accept an engagement. A professional relationship begins only when an authorized engagement letter or agreement has been accepted and any stated onboarding conditions have been met.
Do not delay a filing, payment or other deadline while waiting for a response to a website inquiry. Jamieson CPA is not responsible for monitoring deadlines until that responsibility is expressly accepted in writing.
4. Service boundary
Jamieson CPA does not currently offer compilation engagements, reviews, audits or other assurance services. Accounting, bookkeeping, tax and finance work does not include an assurance opinion, review conclusion or compilation engagement report unless a future written engagement expressly states otherwise and all applicable licensing requirements are met.
5. Inquiry form
You agree that information submitted through the inquiry form will be accurate and lawful. The public form is not a secure document portal. Do not submit social insurance numbers, banking or card information, tax slips, returns, account credentials, identity documents or other highly sensitive information.
6. Fees, invoices and payment
Website descriptions do not establish a fee or promise a particular service scope. Fees, taxes, deposits, billing frequency, payment terms and deliverables are governed by the applicable proposal, engagement letter, invoice or service agreement. Amounts are stated in Canadian dollars unless otherwise specified.
7. Accuracy and availability
Jamieson CPA makes reasonable efforts to keep website information useful and current but does not warrant that every page is complete, error-free or continuously available. Content may change without notice. The site may be interrupted for maintenance, security or circumstances outside reasonable control.
8. Intellectual property
The site design, branding, text, graphics and other original content are owned by or licensed to Jamieson CPA and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view or print limited content for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, republish, modify, sell or commercially exploit site content without written permission.
9. Third-party services and links
The website and later client workflows may rely on third-party infrastructure or link to external services. Third parties operate under their own terms and privacy practices. A link does not necessarily represent an endorsement, and Jamieson CPA is not responsible for third-party content or availability.
10. Limitation
To the extent permitted by law, Jamieson CPA is not liable for loss arising solely from use of, inability to use or reliance on general website content. This limitation does not alter responsibilities expressly accepted under a signed professional engagement or liabilities that cannot legally be limited.
11. Governing law
These Website Terms are governed by the laws of Saskatchewan and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Courts located in Saskatchewan have jurisdiction over disputes relating solely to website use, subject to any mandatory legal rights.
12. Questions
Questions about these terms can be submitted through the website inquiry form by selecting “General inquiry.”
